The Ladyjams Collective was a women and queer-led artist community founded in 2019 by Laura Feathers and Nebula the Velvet Queen.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, the collective curated “Ladyjams” and “Cosmicjams”—experimental music series where musicians, poets, emcees, singers and dancers are randomly put into groups to improvise together.

The Ladyjams Collective also produced poetry nights, art shows in witches covens, rooftops, basements and coffee shops across the city, until the pandemic closed venues.

Once the world reopened, Nebula co-hosted a women and queer-focused weekly open mic in a Bushwick speakeasy. She is currently a member of the DigiAna Collective, which focuses at the intersection of art and technology.
